Who We Are
Ponderosa Aviation has been in business since 1978. Ponderosa Aviation provides air attack services for both the Department of Interior and US Forest Service. We provide platforms to monitor wildland fires and direct fire suppression activities from the air. We also provide air ambulance services serving southeast Arizona. Ponderosa Aviation is also the Fixed-Base Operator at the Safford Regional Airport. We have self and full service fuel, a pilots lounge, snack bar, WiFi, and offer a courtesy car for pilots to drive into town. Along with all of that, we have a full service maintenance department and avionics shop.

Air Ambulance
